BBM 8, the latest upgrade to BlackBerry Messenger^TM, has got a new and beautiful user interface (which is much easier to navigate if you use a touch screen phone), and a new feature called the BBM Channel. However, the upgrade hasn't gone into the good books of some people. The upgrade has got its own downsides too, and users have been complaining.

DON'T FORGET THE PAST

This might sound funny and stupid because it's quite contrary to what many people say and believe – Forget about the past and move on. As for me, I don't entirely agree with this.

Most of my life's lessons are from my past experience. Those days when I was naïve and stupid and foolish. Those days when all I cared about was the present. Those days when I spent money carelessly and never saved. Those days when I paid little attention to what will add to me and to personal development. Those days when I made the wrong decisions/choices — my actions and inactions. To say that I don't regret them is more like deceiving myself.

MY BIRTHDAY SPEECH

HURRAY! It's my birthday today. Another reason to celebrate (asides the fact that my younger sister finally gained admission into a higher institution). My heart is filled with so much joy, most especially because I'm much better now than I was last year. Yea! I mean it.

DOUBLE SAVE

My first post was scheduled to be on 1 November, 2013 – my birthday – but there's no better time to do this than today. It's a very significant day.31 October 2011, a day before my birthday that year, could have been a black day for me but fortunately, it didn't turn out that way. On this day, what was supposed to be a birthday surprise almost turned out to be a bigger surprise (but "badder").

Yes. I said ”we” because i won't be doing this all alone, I need you – yes, you my readers – to do this with me.

It’s a long time coming (over a year, counting from the day I decided to be a blogger) and I think it’s time for me to move pass the “wish” part. I have decided to go with the STOP-WISHING-START-DOING” ideology. The best time to start is now, moreover, I am not getting any younger – a mild way of saying I am getting older. Hahaha!
